Aylesbury Islamic Centre

These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using the Aylesbury Islamic Centre website and for engaging with Centre services, activities, events, and donations. By using the website or taking part in Centre activities, you agree to these terms.

Some activities may require registration. Places may be limited and allocated on a first come basis.

Changes

Events, classes, speakers, dates, and times may change. Updates may be published online or at the Centre.

Conduct

Visitors must behave respectfully and follow Centre guidance while on the premises.

Removal

The Centre may refuse entry or request a person to leave where safety or respectful conduct is at risk.

Donations

Donations support Centre activities and community services. Where a donation is made for a specific purpose, the Centre aims to use funds for that purpose. If circumstances change, the Centre may redirect funds to the closest relevant need, in line with Centre objectives.

Zakat

If the Centre accepts Zakat, it will aim to distribute Zakat in line with Islamic rules and to eligible recipients. If you are unsure whether a donation is treated as Zakat, contact the Centre before donating.

Gift Aid

If you submit a Gift Aid declaration, you confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and that you understand it is your responsibility to pay enough Income Tax and or Capital Gains Tax to cover the amount claimed by charities on your donations. Gift Aid claims are made in line with HMRC requirements.

Refunds

Donation refunds are considered on a case by case basis. Where a refund is possible, it will be processed back to the original payment method where practical. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact the Centre as soon as possible with relevant details.

The Centre may use third party providers for payments, forms, mailing services, or embedded content. Your use of third party services may also be subject to their terms and policies.

Intellectual property

Website content, logos, designs, and materials are owned by or licensed to the Centre unless stated otherwise. You may view and print pages for personal use. You must not copy, reproduce, or distribute content for commercial purposes without permission.

Photos and recordings

From time to time, photos or recordings may be taken at events for safeguarding, security, and communication purposes. If you do not want to be photographed or recorded, inform staff on arrival where possible. The Centre will consider reasonable requests, subject to operational needs and public area limitations.

Health and safety

Visitors must take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others. Follow signage and staff guidance. Parents and guardians remain responsible for children in their care while on Centre premises.

Safeguarding

The Centre takes safeguarding seriously. Where safeguarding concerns arise, the Centre may take appropriate action, including sharing information with relevant authorities where required.
